HOW CAN ARC HELP YOUR TEAM?

ARC provides objective performance testing, strength + conditioning clinics, speed + agility coaching, and injury prevention education for schools and sporting clubs. Each program is tailored to the age, stage, sport demands and training environment of your athletes, using evidence-based practice and AxIT performance tools where appropriate.

We provide:

✔ Pre-season and in-season AxIT performance testing using force plates and timing gates to assess strength, power, speed, asymmetry, movement quality and change-of-direction performance.

✔ Progressive strength + power clinics designed to build athletic foundations, improve force production and support safe long-term development.

✔ Measurable speed + agility coaching focused on acceleration, deceleration, max-speed mechanics and change-of-direction ability.

✔ Practical injury prevention education for coaches, players and parents, covering neuromuscular training, warm-ups, load management, growth-spurt awareness, recovery and nutrition.

✔ Sport- and age-specific programming that supports performance, resilience and athlete development across the season.

Delivery formats (pick what fits your program):

  1. Pre-season testing + reporting: Team testing days with individual and group data to guide training priorities.

  2. Integrated training model: ARC attends regular team sessions for 8–12 weeks to deliver strength, speed or injury-prevention blocks coaches can maintain.

  3. Stand-alone clinics: 60–120-minute workshops delivered before school, after school, during training or as part of pre-season preparation.

PRE SEASON
TEAM TESTING

Objective AxIT testing using force plates and timing gates to assess strength, power, speed, asymmetry and movement quality to guide season priorities, in-season training focus and ongoing progress tracking.

  • Fueling + hydration for performance + recovery

  • Growth-spurt energy needs

  • Coach module: spotting under-fueling/RED-S red flags, building “fuel-friendly” training schedules and sideline plans

  • Sleep/mood/soreness check-ins

  • Load spikes, taper/deload weeks, and adjusting around school/club/rep overlaps

 INJURY PREVENTION + EDUCATION

Practical, evidence-based coach and player education covering neuromuscular training, structured warm-ups, load management, growth-spurt awareness, recovery and nutrition to reduce risk across the season.

  • Deliver program to teams and train coaches in delivery

  • Aerobic, agility, strength + balance exercises, focused on the hip–knee–ankle chain, + single-leg stability + controlled plyometrics

  • Progressions/regressions

  • Emphasis on compliance (injury reduction is highest with adherence).

  • Teach “niggles policy” and graded return steps.

  • Supply all education resources

STRENGTH + POWER TRAINING

Developmentally appropriate strength and power sessions that build athletic foundations, improve force production and help athletes transfer strength into faster, stronger sport performance with reduced injury risk.

  • Progressive strength foundations: squat/hinge/lunge/push/pull/core; single-leg stability

  • Delivered on-court/field or in a gym, with bodyweight → bands → DB/KB progressions so teams can continue independently.

  • Built-in injury-prevention components

SPEED + AGILITY CLINICS

Progressive, measurable speed + agility coaching using AxIT performance tools to track acceleration, max speed and change-of-direction ability. Helping athletes move faster, cut sharper and stay safer on the court or field.

  • Build linear acceleration, maximal speed, and game-relevant change of direction.

  • Agility/COD: deceleration, re-acceleration, cutting, curved runs, reaction drills.

  • Testing & re-testing (e.g., 10–20 m splits, T-Test/505/Illinois as appropriate) with report-backs for coaches and athletes.

TEAM TRAINING IN ACTION

NEUROMUSCULAR TRAINING FOR CLUBS AND TEAMS

Neuromuscular training is one of the most effective ways to improve how young athletes move, absorb force, change direction and tolerate the demands of sport.

Well-designed NMT warm-ups can reduce youth sport injuries by up to 68%. However, results depend on consistent implementation, appropriate progression and exercises that reflect the athletes’ age, sport, ability and training environment.

A generic warm-up is not enough.

Effective neuromuscular training develops:

  • Strength and movement control

  • Balance and single-leg stability

  • Landing and jumping mechanics

  • Deceleration and change-of-direction technique

  • Speed, power and coordination

  • Lower-limb strength and injury resilience

  • Athlete confidence under increasing physical demands

Youth athletes are still growing and developing. Growth spurts, rapid changes in coordination, high sport loads, limited strength capacity and inadequate recovery can all influence movement quality, performance and injury risk.

ARC can help schools, clubs and teams implement practical, sport-specific NMT programs that can be delivered consistently throughout the season.

KEY TAKEAWAY

The science is clear: most youth sport injuries are not just bad luck. With structured neuromuscular training, balanced workloads, age-appropriate strength development and objective performance monitoring, injury risk can be reduced and athletic performance can improve.

With the right strategies in place, schools and clubs can:

  • Reduce injury risk and protect athlete wellbeing

  • Guide pre-season and in-season training with objective data

  • Improve strength, speed, agility and movement quality

  • Keep athletes participating longer in the sports they love

  • Give coaches practical systems they can confidently maintain

Together, we can help young athletes play safer, play stronger, and play for life.
