RUN COACHING
PERSONALISED RUN COACHING.

Evidence-Based Coaching. Measurable Results.

At ARC Athletic, every coaching decision is guided by objective data, not guesswork.
Using the AxIT Performance System, we can assess key performance qualities including aerobic fitness, speed, acceleration, change of direction, jumping ability, force production and asymmetries. Combined with Maximum Aerobic Speed (MAS) testing, these assessments establish your performance baseline, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and allow your training to be prescribed at the appropriate intensity.

Your running and strength programs are then built around structured periodisation, with progressive mesocycles designed to develop the specific physical qualities required for your goals. Whether you're preparing for a race or improving your performance in a court or field sport, every training block has a clear purpose and builds systematically towards peak performance.

RUN COACHING IS SUITABLE FOR:

-
First-time runners looking to build fitness and confidence.
-
Recreational runners training for 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, marathon or trail events.
-
Competitive runners pursuing personal bests or preparing for major events.
-
Court and field sport athletes wanting to improve aerobic capacity, running economy, repeat sprint ability and recovery between high-intensity efforts.
-
Junior athletes preparing for school cross country or representative competition.
-
Runners returning to running following injury, requiring a gradual and progressive return-to-run plan
...your program is designed specifically for you.

Programs may include easy aerobic runs, threshold training, MAS-based intervals, hill sessions, speed development, race-specific workouts and recovery runs. Individualised strength training can be integrated alongside your running program to improve force production, movement efficiency, running economy and injury resilience.

Regular re-testing with the AxIT Performance System allows us to monitor progress objectively, update your training zones, refine your program and ensure every phase of training continues to move you towards your goals.
